This May, I'm going the distance for the health of those affected by colon cancer! I am taking part in the 2024 National Tour de Tush, a ride to end colon cancer!

15 years ago when I heard the words, “I think you need a colonoscopy” later followed by “we found cancer” it did not cross my mind that I would still be alive so many years later!

While I’m thinking about being cancer free, it is also reminder of the importance and necessity to share experiences and information that will help others. My cancer was caught very early, and a good outcome followed. I’ve met so many young people for whom this was not the case.

It is estimated that nearly 153,000 people will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer this year. Colorectal cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States and, by 2030, is projected to be the #1 cause of cancer deaths for adults under 50.

We are going the distance (in miles!) for all those affected by colorectal cancer while raising awareness and funds for research in the Tour de Tush. One hundred percent of the funds raised from this event will go toward research efforts for colorectal cancer.

Colorectal Cancer can be preventable, treatable, and beatable. Let's work together to spread awareness and funds for research to ensure this statement rings true.

This is my first Tour De Tush. I thought this would be a great way to celebrate and help end this disease. Donations are appreciated if you are able.

Thank you for your generosity and support & Be Well!
