Welcome to our team page!
Please consider a donation or walking/running in memory of Diana Gutierrez, who lost her battle with colon cancer in 2022. Our goal is honoring her memory by raising money for awareness and supporting others who have cancer.
Diana Gutierrez was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, the nation’s #2 cancer killer, in 2021.
Prior to her diagnosis she exhibited no symptoms of the disease. She was a Nurse Practitioner, on her feet most days providing love and care for her patients. The fact that she was a seemingly healthy woman in her 40s with no other symptoms and hit with this deadly disease is a scary reality for other patients just like her.
During Diana’s journey, she frequently visited the Colon Cancer Coalition’s website for facts, guidance, and inspirational stories of survival. The goal is to spread awareness and education on the symptoms of colon cancer, encourage screenings, and provide support for patients and families.
Please join us in supporting the Colon Cancer Coalition’s mission to reduce barriers to colorectal cancer screening and educate the public about life saving colorectal cancer screening options. Together, we can make a difference.
Survival rate is over 90% when caught in early stages.
By donating and sharing my page, you can directly help people that are impacted by colon cancer and help save lives.
Thank you for your support! We are stronger together.
