SAVE THE DATE: March 4, 2023


On Saturday, March 12, join us at Beech Mountain Ski Resort for a fun day of skiing, snowboarding, contests and more  to raise awareness and conquer colon cancer!  Not a skier or snowboarder?  No problem... Register to be a fundraiser to still be a part of a great event and win cool prizes!


REGISTRATION:
Registration is required but is free.

You must have a valid lift ticket to participate. Lift tickets can be purchased when you register online or when you arrive at the slope on event day.
**If you plan buy a lift ticket  on the event morning you must also be registered here for the event**
Adult: $52 discounted lift ticket
Junior: $48 discounted lift ticket
Watauga County or Avery County Schools student or teacher: $30 discounted lift ticket

Beech Mountain is generously donating the cost of the lift ticket to the Colon Cancer Coalition.

 


 


FUNDRAISING:
There are two ways to fundraise:

  2. 1.  SIMPLE DONATION. 
  3. A simple donation means that a donor gives a flat rate donation regardless of how many runs a participant does.
  5. 2.  PLEDGE PER SKI RUN. 
  6. Pledge per ski run means that a donor pledges a dollar amount for every run you complete at the Runs for Buns event on 3/12.  
  7. **If you pledge $1/run and your participant does 25 runs that is $25 you will be invoiced for after the event**
In addition to the skiing, there will be an online auction happening.    The auction will be open from March 6th - March 12th.  
Bid high and bid often!


SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Friday, March 11 
8:00 p.m. - online registration closes
Saturday, March 12
7:30 a.m. - Registration in Group Sales
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Runs For Buns.  Participants will ski as many runs as possible using lift 5. 
There will be special lift line designated for all participants.
Runs will be tallied by 6 p.m.  
6:00 p.m. - Program and Awards

Most Spirited Team
Most Ski or Snowboard Runs
Top Fundraising Team

Our goal is to raise awareness and kick colon cancers butt (pun intended)! No one should lose a mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son, or any person we love so let's ski, snowboard, show up and raise funds for the cause!
