In November of 2005 I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. With in a week I had surgery and they took a third of my colon out. Six weeks after surgery I started 6 months of light chemotherapy.

Four years later while being watched by oncology they spotted a spot on my left kidney. Yup, cancer again but caught very early. Only surgery and being watched again.

For many years now I have been cancer free but due to my rare genetic disorder they still watch me closely and I'm in 3 different studies to help find new answers and treatments.
