February 4th, 2012 is the day my mom lost her long, and what seemed like a never ending battle to her diagnosis of Stage IV colon cancer. Since 2013, colon cancer rates in adults ages 20-39 have increased by one or two percent each year, and that is it what organizations such as Get Your Rear in Gear are trying to combat. Please help not only me but plenty of others who have been effected by colon cancer support Get Your Rear in Gear to raise awareness of colon cancer in our communities. Every dollar I raise will not only help Get Your Rear in Gear promote this cause, but it will help families and people effected more than one can imagine. For my much missed mom - no matter how much time will pass, it is never going to diminish your memory and spirit.
