I am walking with my friend who lost her brother in 2017 to colon cancer at the age of 59. She was stunned and heartbroken when he was diagnosed. He had always eaten healthy and exercised. She had no idea he had never had a colonoscopy until he was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer.

My oldest sister had a colonoscopy that raised red flags. She was supposed to go back for more tests but life got in the way. When she finally went back for another test, she was diagnosed with colon cancer. We are all so grateful that they were able to operate and remove the cancerous polyps.
