I founded the Tour de Tush in 2015 in a effort to raise awareness as to the dangers of colon cancer - and potentially saving lives by encouraging people to get screened. In 2021, The Colon Cancer Coalition took the event to a national platform which has proven to be an excellent decision as it continues to grow. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer at my first colonoscopy at age 50 and I am now at 9 years since diagnosis - I consider myself one Lucky Butt!
