Hello!

I am a 15+ year survivor. My cancer was caught very early, and a luckily a good outcome followed. Throughout this journey I’ve met so families for whom this was not the case and my heart aches for all of them. Colorectal cancer can develop silently, without symptoms, until it is in the later stages of the disease. Keep in mind that Colorectal cancer has a 91% survival rate when caught early, yet one-third of eligible adults are not getting screened. It is estimated that nearly 153,000 people will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer this year. It is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States and, by 2030, is projected to be the #1 cause of cancer deaths for adults under 50.

So. . . This May, I'm going the distance for the health of those affected by colon cancer and to help end this disease.

Team members and Donations are appreciated if you are able. I know not everyone can do that, but you can help spread awareness and encourage your loved ones to be screened. Together, we can make a difference! One hundred percent of the funds raised from this event will go toward research efforts for colorectal cancer.

Thank you for your generosity and support & Be Well!

Patricia
