Welcome to my fundraising page!
Please join me in supporting the Colon Cancer Coalition’s mission to reduce barriers to colorectal cancer screening and educate the public about life saving colorectal cancer screening options. Survival rate is over 90% when caught in early stages.
This was unfortunately something that my family did not know about nearly 15 years ago when one day, my mom, Stephanie, was admitted to the hospital for stomach pain. Days turned to weeks, tests after tests, and multiple surgeries later, and my mom was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. She was barely 40 years old - so well before the estimated testing age (which at the time was 50).
My mom bravely fought stage 4 colon cancer for nearly 2.5 years. What they don't tell you, is that a cancer diagnosis involves a lot more people than just the Patient. It is a disease that infects everyone and impacts them in different ways. I watched my mom fight like I've never seen anyone fight for years. Unfortunately, in 2012, the Lord called her home and we said goodbye.
This organization, and more importantly, this cause, is incredibly important to me. I fight so that no family has to experience what mine did.
I hope you will join me by joining me on April 6th, Donating and Sharing my page. By doing so, you can directly help people that are impacted by colon cancer and help save lives. All funds raised stay LOCAL to San Antonio!
Thank you for your support! Together, we can make a difference. Together, we are stronger.
