Here is my Why!
I lost my spouse, Ron to colon cancer in 2006 in just 10 short months from diagnosis.
He was a kind and gentle man, a great husband, a terrific father, and a friend to many.
I thought this would be a great way to turn my grief into something positive for others.
I found out about GYRIG shortly after moving to Raleigh and have participated in this annual event since 2012.
The rest is history!
I have participated in this event since 2012.
Each year, in March, for colon cancer awareness month, I post daily reminders on social media as a reminder to get screened and provide educational tips about colon cancer.llar I raise will advance Colon Cancer Coalition's great cause! Additionally, you can ask me how you can get involved too.
Together, we can make a difference!
It takes a village!
Thanks for your support!
