Welcome to my fundraising page! We are so excited Get Your Rear in Gear OC is back! My family started walking in 2015, when I was in the midst of chemo for stage 3 colon cancer, they were a team of 6. In 2019 we walked as a team of 27! We are so excited to be walking again and we hope you’ll consider joining Andrea’s Blue Brigade! From 2016-2019, I was the top individual fundraiser. Now that GYRIG OC is back, I hope to continue with that title. Please consider making a donation to help in the fight against the second deadliest cancer. This year is especially important to me as I will be celebrating 10 years cancer free!! Glory to God!

Did you know that colorectal cancer is the second deadliest cancer? Only lung cancer kills more Americans each year than colon cancer, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Regular, early screening is essential to catching this disease before it begins and in its earliest stages. 

Survival rate is over 90% when caught in early stages.
