My mom died from stage IV colon cancer on October 3rd, 2021 after a brief but incredibly strong battle, just three months after being diagnosed. She was only 62 years old. I may have been her reason in life, but now she is mine.

Last year, within two weeks between her passing and race day, we raised $5,748.64 for Get Your Rear in Gear NYC 2021! Every dollar of that helped save lives in her memory. That was my last prayer for her – that no one would die as she did. There is no limit to what we can do this year to keep advancing the cause!
