On October 19, I’ll be joining hundreds of others at Get Your Rear in Gear – New York, a 5K Run/Walk in Prospect Park that raises awareness and funding for colorectal cancer research and support.

This cause is personal — I’m walking as part of my own journey, and I’m deeply grateful for the community that stands behind those of us fighting it.
