Please join me in supporting the Colon Cancer Coalition’s mission to reduce barriers to colorectal cancer screening and educate the public about life saving colorectal cancer screening options. Together, we can make a difference.
Did you know that colorectal cancer is the second deadliest cancer? Only lung cancer kills more Americans each year than colon cancer, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Regular, early screening is essential to catching this disease before it begins and in its earliest stages.
Survival rate is over 90% when caught in early stages.
By donating and sharing my page, you can directly help people that are impacted by colon cancer and help save lives.
On October 20, 2024 I will be participating in the 2024 Get Your Rear In Gear-
In Oct 2023, I was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer. After surgery in November, I completed 11 rounds of full dose chemotherapy in April of 2024. I am focusing now on spreading awareness. There is an documented increase in colon cancer incidence for people under 50. Early detection modalities need to be made available and utilized, so that less people need invasive colon surgery and chemotherapy treatment. "Get Your Rear in Gear" is an organization that among its missions includes educating the public about early detection and screening, as well as funding research to fight colon cancer. PLEASE join me on Team ‘I’m Still Standing’ to raise money for a cause that is clearly personal for me. Let's make a difference together. If you or someone you love is 45 and has not yet had a colonoscopy or are otherwise due- please schedule your colonoscopy TODAY. This is a treatable cancer if detected early.
