This year, the Get your Rear in Gear will honor my friend’s courageous battle by having the memory walk in his name. Colorectal cancer is the 3rd most commonly diagnosed cancer, and the 2nd leading cause of death. The chance of surviving colon cancer goes up with early detection and treatment—but only 40% of colon cancers are found in the early stages.
