In Loving Memory of John Lofgren
The world has lost too many people to cancer. Today, on the last day of National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, I write with sadness that my Uncle John has passed away after a long battle with Colorectal Cancer.
My Uncle John was an incredible man and knew just how to make you feel special. When I was a child, as an employee for Northwest Airlines, he would arrange to have special gift baskets delivered to my family while on flights. As an adult, Uncle John would handwrite cards and share his own precious memories, hoping to inspire us to create our own.
I am hosting this fundraiser in my Uncle John's memory in hopes that one day this cancer will have a 100% cure rate. My Uncle is not the first person I have lost to Colorectal Cancer, he's actually the fourth. I have had three other friends pass away from this horrible disease and it took their lives in their late twenties and early thirties.
Please join me in this crucial fight against Colorectal Cancer. We can't keep losing our loved ones to this disease.
Thank you.
Rest with Love to Lucas Brooks, Scott Schipper, Andrew Robles, and my Uncle John Lofgren.
