As most of you know, I began my fight against Colon Cancer in January 2022. After the initial diagnosis, a recurrence and spread, 11 surgeries/procedures, 12 months total of chemo, and countless scans/tests, I'm standing strong and fighting every day to beat this!

On November 10th, I'll participate in my 3rd Get Your Rear In Gear Walk to bring awareness and support to reduce barriers to colorectal cancer screening and educate the public about life saving colorectal cancer screening options. Together, we can make a difference.

Did you know that colorectal cancer is the second deadliest cancer? Only lung cancer kills more Americans each year than colon cancer, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Regular, early screening is essential to catching this disease before it begins and in its earliest stages. 

Survival rate is over 90% when caught in early stages.
