Getting My Rear in Gear...for Chelsea
Danielle Josephine Dewitt
Danielle Josephine DeWitt
Back in 2015, I started seeing a new doctor and her name was Dr. Chelsea Boet. Little did I know that one day she would get me to lead a race called the Get Your Rear in Gear.
Chelsea lost her battle to colon cancer in 2020. She fought hard right up to the end and had an army of supporters along the way. I was proud, blessed, and honored, to call her my dear friend.
This year will be the sixth annual Get Your Rear in Gear Grand Rapids for the Colon Cancer Coalition. It's important to know that ALL DOLLARS RAISED STAY HERE IN WEST MICHIGAN! This event supports the Dr. Chelsea Boet Endowment for Colorectal Cancer Patient Support at Corewell Health in West Michigan, along with other awareness efforts to encourage timely and regular screenings.
This year I have set a goal of $250...I'd like to hit that goal quickly and keep going. Would you consider making a gift to support the Colon Cancer Coalition?
And please, consider joining us for this year's event on Saturday, October 5 at Millennium Park in Grand Rapids!
