Colon Cancer Awareness Game - Liberty vs Villanova - 10.8.21

While fierce competitors on the field, Liberty and Villanova Field Hockey will be working together to help fight against Colon Cancer in their game on October 8th.

This Inaugural Colon Cancer Awareness game will be in honor of Assistant Coach Heather Hefner’s mom, Susan Wiley, who passed away due to colon cancer in June of 2014. We will also be supporting Todd Lucas, pastor of Head Coach Nikki Parsley-Blocker while at Northwestern, who was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. Todd is currently a full time missionary in Chicago and has a wife and two beautiful children.

Colon Cancer is the 2nd deadliest cancer with 1 in 24 people developing the disease. We are coming together to bring awareness to this type of cancer in order to help people catch it early on. We ask that you sincerely consider donating to the Colon Cancer Coalition who is working to get more people screened and educated about Colon Cancer and about the signs and symptoms of this treatable disease. With their help, we can help people understand their risk factors and get the right screening at the right time and we can take a stand against Colon Cancer!

Please help us support the Colon Cancer Coalition by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar raised will advance Colon Cancer Coalition's great cause!
Together, we can make a difference
