The Mountain Island Lake F3 (MILF3) “Get Your Rear In Gear” Sprint Triathlon will be held on Saturday May 29th starting at 7:30am at the Overlook Gazebo / Boat Launch. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Colon Cancer Coalition that is focused on awareness and prevention. Directions to the race are included below We offer both an individual race option as well as a family relay option for completing the race. Suggested donation is $25 per individual triathlon entrant and $25 total for a family relay team. If you are interested in participating in the triathlon, please 1) make a donation to the Colon Cancer Coalition thru this fundraising page and 2) send me a separate email to cire_ipmop@yahoo.com that includes the name of the participant(s) and what race entry you are doing (single participant or relay team, with all of the relay team member names included in the email) If you are only interested in supporting the fundraising for the Colon Cancer Coalition without racing, please just make a donation thru this fundraising page. The race will start and finish at the boat launch/gazebo area on Saturday May 29th at 7:30 am and will include a ~0.4 mile swim from the boat launch, a ~12.5 bike course that will be three 4+ mile loops primarily on the main road of OMD and then a ~3 mile run thru the neighborhood.
