My dad, John Snow, is a survivor of Colon Cancer. However, his cancer was detected was very late and he was almost not so fortunate. Diagnosed with Stage III in November 2010, dad underwent treatments and eventually made a tremendous recovery; nearly a decade in remission.
CCC’s mission is to promote early screenings. Although the survival rate for colon cancer is 90% when it’s caught in the early stages, only 40% of cases are being diagnosed during this window.
