This August, I'm going the distance for the health of those affected by colon cancer, as well as my own! This cause holds a special place in my heart, as I lost my uncle Mark to colon cancer in 2017.
It is estimated that nearly 153,000 people will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer this year. Colorectal cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States and, by 2030, is projected to be the #1 cause of cancer deaths for adults under 50.
Together, we can make a difference! One hundred percent of the funds raised from this event will directly impact our Corewell Health coverage area.
