This team has been formed in memory of Mary Kay Sanford, who passed away from colon cancer in 2006 at the age of 48. Philip Sanford is the Local Event Director in Charlotte and works to raise funds in memory of his mother. Funds raised will stay in Charlotte and are used to expand screening services and address the needs of patients, survivors, and caregivers in the Charlotte region.
