Lisa was full of life. She had a big personality and a wild side, she was a mother (3), grandmother (7), sister (4) and a good friend of/to many. When she wasn't with her grand babies or vibing out on her peloton, she was probably chasing the Dave Matthew's Band tour bus or jamming to the Rolling Stones.

Lisa was a career woman. She spent half of her career pursuing her passion for travel at U.S Airways (American Airlines). After 20+ years in the airline industry, Lisa went back to school to become a Labor & Delivery nurse - her true calling in life to help others & bring new lives into this world. She is so deeply loved and missed everyday.

Lisa passed on February 13, 2024 after a 5 year battle with colorectal cancer. This 5K is in her honor—to celebrate her life, raise awareness, and create a space for others to share their own experiences with cancer. Together, we can build a strong, supportive community and make a difference.
