It’s Miller Time is back for our 8th year. This team was started in 2016, a few months after Joe Miller, beloved husband and father, was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer at the age of 39.
Joe loved this race. He especially loved being the largest team and the team that raised the most money. He benefitted from many of the services provided by grants from the fundraising efforts of this race. Wind River Cancer Retreat was a favorite of his.
We said goodbye to Joe in July of 2020. He was 43 and left behind three amazing children who were 6, 8 and 10 at the time. Anna, Alyssa and Jack have continued Joe’s fundraising efforts. Last year, Alyssa raised more than any other individual at this race. She was 9:) Anna did the same when she was 8. Perhaps it is Jack’s turn this year?
Please join our family on March 25 in honoring Joe and helping others with colorectal cancer. 💙
