As many of you know, Bob Stewart lost his battle with colon cancer in Jan 2017. We're getting together at Carson Beach, South Boston, MA on Sept 14th to remember and honor Bob Stewart. So get your rear in gear, and let's have a beer (after the race) for Bob!

On September 14, I will be running in the Get Your Rear in Gear - Boston; an event hosted by the Colon Cancer Coalition. Please consider joining my team, Bob Stew's Bum Crew, in honor of my dad, Bob Stewart.

Our goal is to have the largest team on race day, and raise at least $5000. Last year, our team raised over $4,700 and we were one of the top fundraising teams!!


Planned by local volunteers, with support from the Colon Cancer Coalition, Get Your Rear in Gear is the nation’s largest colon cancer event series. Run/Walk events are held across the country in an effort to raise the awareness of the importance for colon cancer screenings. Nearly 50 will be held in 2019 alone. The money raised at these events is invested back into the local community to promote prevention and early detection of the disease and to provide support to those affected.
