This year will mark 10 years since the creation of the Weehawken Boys, Allen Tamke and myself who grew up in Weehawken NJ and both diagnosed with colon cancer in 2014.

After a second diagnosis in 2017 of stage iv colon cancer and subsequent treatments and surgeries I have been cancer free since 2018.

Allen unfortunately was not able to beat his cancer and after a long and inspiring battle he succumbed to the cancer in 2018. His fight and regular checking up on my journey inspired me on to survive.

So we try to gather family and friends together at this great event to honor his memory and all those who have fought the fight. I ask that you join us if possible in Boston this year to celebrate the lives of all the Weehawken Boys who are no longer with us. If you can’t make it in person please consider supporting us as we run (walk😂) to honor their lives as boys from Weehawken.
