Year two! I signed up last year to walk with my mom. This year I hope to raise a little more money as I walk with my mom, make my steps worth it. In addition to my mom losing her friend two years ago, I also lost an uncle this year to colon cancer. The more money raised, the better chance to slow it down.

Only lung cancer kills more Americans each year than colon cancer, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Regular, early screening is essential to catching this disease before it begins and in its earliest stages. 

Survival rate is over 90% when caught in early stages.
