Things to consider; why you're doing this event, date, location, and contact information
Booty Spin Off
Please join me in a Tour de Tush Spoke Spin-off Series bike ride
in memory of Wayne.
Why we ride:
Sunday, October 1, 2023
The "official" start time will be at 8:00 AM. However, if you can't make it that early, feel free to do the ride on your own at any time.
Veterans Park pavilion, parking available in a lot off Nicollet Ave.
This ride will take you from Richfield into Minneapolis and back. The course map can be seen athttps://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/2681999617
NOTE: This is an open course so, please obey the rules of the road. There is no official rest stop where food or drinks will be provided, so please bring your own (especially water to keep hydrated). You can find plenty of parks and resting spots to stop at along the way to rest and refuel.
Can't make it to join us on October 1st? Please feel free to bike at any time as part of our team - as long as it is completed before December 31st.
There is a $33 fee to register, which includes a Tour de Tush shirt and medal. Colorectal cancer patients/survivors register for FREE!
There are no fundraising requirements. However, fundraising is greatly appreciated! All registered riders will receive a personal fundraising page. Raise $1000 or over and receive a 2023 Tour de Tush bike jersey.
The ride was designed to make it accessible to all skill levels, as you can turn around at any time to go the distance you desire. The majority of the ride is flat and enjoyable.
Please forward a link to this page to family and friends that may want to participate or donate!
WHAT TO BRING:
Water! A serviced Bike (you want to ensure your bike is in good working condition since there is no mechanical support available). A spare tube, pump, and tire tools might be handy, if you have them.
Helmets are required!
Post-Ride Gathering: Join us after the ride at Local Roots to refuel and connect!
