Did you know that colorectal cancer is the second deadliest cancer? Only lung cancer kills more Americans each year than colon cancer, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Regular, early screening is essential to catching this disease before it begins and in its earliest stages. 

Survival rate is over 90% when caught in early stages.

Sadly, my colon cancer wasn't diagnosed early. I was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer on 6 April 2023. Other than being tired and anemic, I had no clue that anything this major was wrong. My treatment is challenging, with chemotherapy every two weeks, indefinitely. However, I have such amazing support from God, modern medicine, devoted physicians, and the best friends and family on her team.
