We began AZs colon cancer awareness event in 2022 with effort to provide the valley an opportunity to learn about the importance of early screening/detection and the new guideline screening age. Teamed up with medical professionals around the valley we hope to continue to educate and serve our community and to increase the number of screening colonoscopies and other detection methods to prevent the incidence of colon cancer !

Did you know that colorectal cancer is the second deadliest cancer? Only lung cancer kills more Americans each year than colon cancer, but it doesn’t have to be that way. The Colon Cancer Coalition wants to make colorectal cancer screening a life-long health practice available to all, saving lives from this devastating disease.
