Pooper For Pat is a support team honoring Pat Doherty who fought the brave fight against colon cancer. Pat passed in March of 2013, and we continue together to bring awareness and support so that one day no one will have to fear this disease.

Pat's family and friends first started to raise awareness about Colon Cancer, and to support Pat in his fight with Colon Cancer when he was first diagnosed. We started small in our first Run/Walk in Alexandria, VA in 2010. Since that first event we have participated in Philadelphia, Concord, NH and Orlando FL to keep Pat's memory alive. He was adamant that we find a cure for this awful disease. He also was passioned about getting people screened and was willing to share his story to empower others to "Check their Colon". I hope you will join this us as we continue to honor Pat's memory and passion in the fight against Colon Cancer.
