Team Vetere - Kicking Colon Cancer's A$$

Team Vetere
Welcome to Team Vetere!
On April 27, 2024, we were given the devastating news that Michael had Cancer. Further testing confirmed that it was Stage 4 Colon Cancer. To say we were shocked and terrified, is an understatement. The months that followed were filled with repeated hospital stays, surgeries and infections. A perforated abscess would require an emergency surgery that no one surgeon wanted to touch. You see, many had given up on Michael and did not think the surgery was worth the risk. It was a VERY scary time. We refused to give up and kept on fighting. We were blessed with the recommendation of a GREAT Colorectal Surgeon, who not only took on the surgery but was able to remove all of the mass in his colon! He saved Michael's life and we are forever grateful. Michael's last surgery was in June of 2024 and while that recovery proved to be long and challenging, Michael got through it and today is feeling great! He reacting well to his treatment and is determined to continue his fight and kick Cancer's A$$!
Thank you to ALL who have stood by us, prayed for us and with us. Your support is invaluable and I am forever grateful to each of you.
Join Team Vetere as we not only walk to celebrate our Michael but to also bring awareness and help those impacted by Colon Cancer.
Please support our team’s efforts as we come together to help end this deadly disease. Together, we can make a difference!
With Love & Gratitude, Rosie & Michael,
Michael T, Samantha and Nicholas
