In July, I went to the doctor with pain in my abdomen and some bowel changes. After a colonoscopy at the age of 43, I am now facing a battle with colon cancer. Screenings begin at 45, and this disease is hitting those younger than me every day, so awareness of symptoms and talking about it and to your doctor is important.
