Sweet Cheeks
Welcome to Sarah and Michele's Team Page.
Sarah and I have been friends for several years. We have so much in common. Last summer Sarah lost her dad to colon cancer. I lost my dad over 24 years ago to rectal cancer. She has participated in this walk to support her dad and now we are starting a team together to honor our fathers and to support me in my fight against rectal cancer.
I was Diagnosed in November of 2023. My last colonoscopy was just 2 years prior. I followed up with my GI doctor when I had changes. I have stage II/early stage III Missed Matched Repair Deficiency. This type is identified in only 5 and 10 % of rectal cancer patients. I started fight against this cancer with a newer immunotherapy drug Jempreli/Dostarlimab as it has shown good response in this type of cancer.
Please support our team’s efforts as we come together to help end this deadly disease. Together, we can make a difference.
Did you know that colorectal cancer is the second deadliest cancer? Only lung cancer kills more Americans each year than colon cancer, but it doesn’t have to be that way. The Colon Cancer Coalition wants to make colorectal cancer screening a life-long health practice available to all, saving lives from this devastating disease.
Support our team and contribute to our efforts that will make a real difference in our community. By donating and sharing our page, you can directly help people that are impacted by colon cancer and help save lives. Thank you for your support! We are stronger together.
