Join me in supporting the Colon Cancer Coalition's vital mission to break down barriers to colorectal cancer screening and spread awareness about life-saving screening options. Together, we can truly make a difference in the fight against this disease.
Did you know that colorectal cancer ranks as the second deadliest cancer? Surpassed only by lung cancer in annual fatalities, colorectal cancer's toll is staggering. But there's hope—early and regular screening can drastically improve survival rates, with over 90% survival when caught in its early stages.
I invite you to donate and share this page to directly aid those affected by colon cancer and contribute to saving lives. Every contribution counts, and together, we are stronger.
On July 30th, my big sister, the strongest woman I know, received devastating news. While wrapping up a beautiful trip in the Tennessee mountains, she was struck by excruciating cramps and fatigue. Rushing back home, a detour to a rural North Carolina ER revealed alarming findings—a CT scan showed spots in her colon, liver, and lungs. The diagnosis: stage 4 colon cancer.
Having lost our father to cancer in 2007, we understand the gravity of this battle all too well. Despite the immense challenges, my sister has maintained an incredible attitude, balancing chemotherapy, teaching, and caring for her four young children. She is fortunate to have an incredible support system rallying behind her, led by her amazing husband.
Thank you for standing with us in this journey. #FightHard
