This year my husband, Todd Colburn, was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer which has spread to his liver, lung and peritoneum. As part of his diagnosis we found out that the tumor has been growing in him for 5-10 YEARS. Early detection increases the chances of successful outcomes. And new treatments are needed to treat a disease that is happening in younger and younger patients.
