Recently, I registered for our local Get Your Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk and accepted the challenge to coordinate our returning team (Back The Blue Ribbon) to raise funds that support the Colon Cancer Coalition's efforts to increase colon cancer screening and awareness in our local area.

This is a cause that is very important to me because in 2018, my husband (Jim), who is a First Responder was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. It has been a long road to recovery but luckily, he is a Cancer SURVIVOR!!!
