My 2023 Get Your Rear in Gear - Maine Personal Page
Cole Taylor
Cole Taylor
As some of you already know, my dad was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer in November 2022. Hands down one of the worst days of my life. Nobody ever wants to hear those words from someone they love.
That said, my dad is a warrior and is kicking ass through treatment! We still have a long road ahead but I am fully convinced that his positive attitude is carrying him through even on his worst days.
On June 24th (my parents anniversary), I am running the Get Your Rear in Gear 5K in Portland, Maine alongside some family & friends! Please consider either joining our team, “Go for Gants” or donating to support this incredibly important cause. If you are unable to do either, please know that is okay, your encouragement and support is everything.
We chose “Go for Gants” as our team name for a couple reasons. “Go” means to move from one place to another and in this case, he is moving toward getting healthy, and we are right there with him. “Gants” is what his grandkids call him because they couldn’t say “Gramps” and the name has stuck.
Thank you all for your ongoing love and support of my dad, my hero. 💙

(Please help me support Colon Cancer Coalition by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar WE raise will advance Colon Cancer Coalition's great cause! Additionally, you can ask me how you can get involved too.
Together, we WILL make a difference!)
