Amelia, Karen & I are running (and run-walking for the oldies) this Sunday in San Francisco in support of Colon cancer
I’m officially a ‘colon cancer survivor’ having found out in May that I had it, and now after a 5 hour operation to oust it, I’ve been given the all clear, having never suffered any symptoms.
It looks like I’ve been opened up with a rusty tin opener, but hoping to move at slightly faster than walking pace after the last staple came out last week.
Any support is more than welcome!
Colon Cancer Coalition has been raising money to increase awareness and raise screening rates for colon cancer since 2005. They also provide support to patients and caregivers.
