It’s Miller Time is back for our 7th year to help kick colon cancer’s butt. This team was set up in 2016 after Joe Miller was diagnosed with Stage 4 disease at the age of 39. At the time, our children were 1, 3 and 6 years old. He underwent numerous surgeries, radiation treatments and over 150 cycles of chemo in order to be there for them. His greatest wish was to see them all grow up. We said goodbye to Joe in 2020 when the kids were 6, 8 and 10. There is not a day that goes by when we don’t think about him or share a funny story about him. He was passionate about helping others with colon cancer, finding a cure and preventing this disease, especially in other young people. We hope to make these wishes come true.
