On December 1st, 2020 I had my first routine colonoscopy. I woke up to my sister telling me they found a 6cm mass in my rectum. Later that week I was in with an oncologist, surgeon and radiologist and had all the scan set up. The week before Christmas I started 28 radiation treatments followed in March by 4 months of chemo while taking chemo pills during both. Thankfully after 2 surgeries in August and October they found no evidence of the cancer left. 2021 was a very hard year being a single mom and getting my son through graduation and off to college. I was so thankful to have my family and friends help me out and now it's my turn to give back! Please help me support Colon Cancer Coalition by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance Colon Cancer Coalition's great cause! Additionally, you can ask me how you can get involved too.
