As many of you know I am a colon cancer survivor! In 2014 on a routine (1st at 50) colonoscopy I was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer! After successful surgery and chemo, I felt I needed to give back and educate! After some research I found the Boston colon cancer coalition get your rear in gear!( GYRIG) 5k and Patties Party Poopers was created!! For the last 8 years ( minus 2020) it has been a labor of love to organize our team to raise awareness, money, and educate as many people as possible. Please consider joining me and the team on Saturday September 17,2022 (or donating)! It is a beautiful course, and many get their personal best time. There are as many walkers as runners, lots of dogs and kids. It is a fun race and I make a killer sangria for after! Hope to see all of you there!
