Colon cancer. I can pretty much say for sure it has affected most individuals one way or the other. Some have had to battle it. Some know others close to them that have had to battle it. And others have had loved ones and friends taken from them after battling it. Unfortunately we were part of that latter group in 2013 when we lost the heart of our family to it. So for the 10th straight year we are running the Get Your Rear in Gear 5k to honor "Grammy's" memory and raise as much as we can to help the Colon Cancer Coalition in it's efforts towards colon cancer awareness, prevention and treatment.
