Just wanted to give an update. We are 4 days away from the walk. Those who have joined our team or have donated, Thank you very much. It's still hard for me to believe the whole reason we are doing this. 11 months ago, we lost Chris to colon cancer. I was there with him every day and had no idea that cancer could take you that quickly. We only had 5 weeks from diagnose to when he passed away on October 11, 2021. it's going to an emotional day for me, but we will get through this together. Whether you're running, walking, or there to just cheer us on. Again, the girls and I thank you.

Together, we can make a difference!
I'm doing this walk-in honor of my best friend and late husband Chris. He lost his battle on 10/11/21 only 5 weeks after he found out he had colon cancer. He had no signs, symptoms or family history. We only found it after a routine colonoscopy. So please get checked. It is treatable when caught early!

As many of you know, Chris lost his battle with Colon Cancer on 10/11/21 He went into have what we thought was a routine colonoscopy and they found the cancer. He passed away only 5 weeks later. Although something happened during the colonoscopy that led to other complications, where the cancer was located you would never have known that it was there without a colonoscopy. He had no signs, symptoms, or family history, and he was only 52! Colon Cancer is treatable when caught early. So please get checked. I'm doing this 5K in Boston, in honor of Chris.
