I am a new graduate nurse and a colorectal cancer survivor. This team exemplifies how important patient advocacy is and how important nurses are in advocating for patients. This team comprises not only new graduate nurses and experienced nurses but families and caregivers as well. Most importantly, how important the Colon Cancer Coalition is to our local community because funds raised for local events got to our CRC cancer patients through grants!
