My 2021 Get Your Rear in Gear - New York Personal Page
Alyssa Frost
Alyssa Frost
I am once again participating in the 2021 NY Get Your Rear In Gear 5K Run/Walk, which benefits the Colon Cancer Coalition. This organization is close to my heart and helps me to remember my aunt, Diane Carol Greenberg. This year is especially special because my daughter, Dylan Frost was born in December 2020, is named after Diane and she will be joining us at the event. We see bits of Diane every day in Dylan, and I am honored and proud that we can celebrate Diane's memory through her and most especially at this in person event.
I live each and every day with Diane in my mind. I hope that you can join me at this event, by either walking or running with my team, Dashing For Diane. Together, we can make a big difference and make an impact about the importance of Colon Cancer Screening. If you are unable to join us at the event, donations are always welcome as another way to support us! If you would like to mail a check instead of an online donation, please email me at alyssadfrost101@gmail.com
For those that don't know about Diane's story:
Diane was diagnosed with colon cancer and she unfortunately passed away in October of 1992. I think about her daily and she is always in my heart. If you didn't know Diane, I wish you had the chance to meet her. She had one of the kindest and warmest personalities who loved her family and friends dearly. She was a role model. Sadly, after living in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and son, she became ill with colon cancer and unfortunately passed away at an early age.
THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR AMAZING SUPPORT EACH AND EVERY YEAR. I AM THANKFUL FOR SUCH WONDERFUL FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME KEEP THE MEMORY OF DIANE ALIVE! #kickcancersbutt
