As most of you know, I lost my father (Larry Rogers) to colon cancer in 2000. He was only 48 years old.

This race holds a very special place in my heart. In 2015 this was my first 5K ever! 2 of my cousins were my biggest cheerleaders and did the race with me. When I told them about it they supported me with no questions or hesitation and my team of 3 all finished our first 5K together. Each year my team has grown. This is my 5th year and my HOPE is that this will be my biggest team yet!. Won't you join me and my team (Larry's Stars) on Saturday, March 7th as we walk/run to support colon cancer awareness?

This year I will race in memory of Larry Rogers, Ghee Blain and Steven Gause. I will also honor those that continue to fight like Starrie Grissett and Donna Sanders.

This race is for all fitness levels so you can walk it or run it. If you don't have any interest in the physical aspect of the race, you can still participate by making a donation to my team. Or you can just think of us on race day and send us some good vibes and energy (and good weather)!
