We're on YEAR 8 with a team at GYRIG!! My first team was less than 2 months after being cleared from cancer in 2013. I remember thinking 2020 was SO far away, and look at us now! :)

We are continuing the fight against colon cancer. I am now officially 7 YEAR Cancer-Free! I am so thankful for lucky #7, but there are still TOO many people affected by colon cancer each year. One of those affected was my own twin-sister Meredith, who was diagnosed in 2018. Thankfully, she is also clear of cancer. WOO-HOO!

We've teamed up, changed our name to the DAM TWIN SQUAD, and continue to raise money to support many important grants in the Charlotte area. Programs that include: The Cost of Cancer Grant, WindRiver Wellness Retreats, Novant Health grant- no cost colonoscopies for the under-insured, Atrium Health- no cost colonoscopies and wellness programs, and many others.
