I walk in memory of my brother, Eric Burkholder. Eric dealt with ulcerative colitis for a long time, but his toughest battle started at the end of 2009. He underwent surgery in February 2010 which revealed that he had 2 types of colon cancer and was currently at stage IV. Eric stayed positive and fought so hard going through rounds of chemotherapy, more surgeries, infections, and other complications. He was brave, strong, and most importantly never gave up hope. Unfortunately Eric lost his battle in January 2011 at just 30 years old.

My brother was one of a kind. He touched the lives of all he met with his kindness and sense of humor.
